Following a wonderfully enriched and successful career performing on stage, television, and film, Tracy’s journey for the past number of years has been raising her beautiful daughter, bridging the gap by creating and supporting art, education and technology scholarships for Pre-K through higher education, creating and supporting emergency funds for adult and pediatric patients going through medical treatment and living a life of mindfulness, love and compassion. During this time, Tracy deeply reflected on her own experiences with loved ones and their illnesses. She and Manon focused on the vast number of people around the world who are in need of emergency financial assistance while going through medical treatment and the Love Light Compassion Foundation was born of these reflections. She is grateful and deeply humbled to be working with our loving global community and exceptional LLCF Consortium & Team.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”1038″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_border”][vc_custom_heading text=”Manon O’Connor

She serves as the Senior Director of Development at the University of Vermont Cancer Center and is an active community volunteer. Manon shares Tracy’s meaningful vision of helping patients and families navigate medical crisis by reducing the financial stress often associated with a life threatening/challenging diagnosis.

Prior to her career in medical Development, Manon was the owner and operator of successful businesses in Burlington with her late husband. Diagnosed with cancer in 1997, and following a valiant battle, her husband died in 1998. Widowed and single parent to their 10-year-old daughter, Manon began her meaningful journey to help others experiencing the same or similar challenges.

Manon and Tracy connected in the early 2000s when Manon met (and later married) a relative of Tracy’s. For several years they talked about their empathy and passion for people suffering through illness and the devastating financial effects it often has on the families and caregivers. Tracy’s vision and passion coupled with Manon’s experience was a perfect blend, resulting in the Love Light Compassion Foundation.
